The biggest problem we all facing who help the stray dogs is the lack of helpful vets to do the sterilization. The point of us setting up PAC was to help each other and push the government to their part, PAC have done that successfully with the shelter in Pattaya, with that out of the way it is time to move to step two. The suggestions is that PAC hire a Veterinarian full time based in Pattaya area, but movable and than we all share the vet cost based on how much money each group/person can chip in each month. If PAC can get donations to cover the cost for the Vet each month you do not need to pay. We all need money to cover our costs. If the “vet fund” get an overflow PAC hires another vet. The dogs get vaccinated, tattooed and sterilized and let back to where it used to live.
กลุ่ม PAC ของเรา ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นมาเพื่อเป็นศูนย์กลางให้ความร่วมมือช่วยเหลือสุนัขเร่ร่อน รวมถึงเป็นสื่อกลางในการผลักดันให้ทางเจ้าหน้าที่ไปจนถึงรัฐบาลเข้ามาดูแล ช่วยเหลือสัตว์เหล่านี้ีมากขึ้น โดยที่ผ่านมาทางกลุ่มของเราก็ประสบความสำเร็จในเบื้องต้นกับศูนย์ช่วยเหลือ ในเขตพัทยา แต่ทว่าปัญหาใหญ่สุดของเราในขณะนี้คือ ทางเรายังขาดสัตวแพทย์มาช่วยทำหมันสุนัข ฉีดวัคซีน และลงหมายเลขที่ตัว ( เพื่อช่วยในการติดตามผลและง่ายต่อการจำแต่ละเคส) ดังนั้น ทางกลุ่ม PAC ของเราจึงมีความประสงค์จะจ้างสัตวแพทย์ประจำร่วมกับองค์กรหรือกลุ่มช่วย เหลือสัตว์ที่สนใจ โดยขอให้เป็นผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ในเขตพัทยาและสามารถเดินทางออกนอกสถานที่ได้ใน กรณีที่มีเคสจำเป็นต้องเดินทางไปช่วยในเขตอื่น โดยเงินตอบแทนจะขึ้นอยู่กับการตกลงกันระหว่างกลุ่ม และถ้าหากว่าเดือนไหนทางเราได้เงินบริจาคเยอะพอที่จะเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายครอบคลุม ค่าจ่างสัตวแพทย์ได้ ทางกลุ่่มอื่นๆก็ไม่จำเป็นต้องออกค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ และถ้าหากในอนาคตทางเราสามารถเพิ่มยอดบริจาคได้มากขึ้น ก็จะทำการจ้างสัตวแพทย์เพิ่มตามลำดับ
